Our commitment
SWMO Exteriors and Construction wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and people using assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard widely used to measure web accessibility under laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we have done
- A "Skip to content" link and consistent page landmarks, headings and navigation
- Every feature reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline, including the menus and forms
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, with decorative images hidden from screen readers
- Text and controls designed to meet WCAG AA color contrast on our black background
- Form fields with visible labels, clear required markers, and error messages announced to screen readers
- Animations that turn off when your device is set to reduce motion
- Pages that reflow for phones and zoom up to 400% without horizontal scrolling
- Phone and email alternatives offered alongside every form
Known limitations
- Project photos. Job-site photos have text descriptions, but they may not capture every visual detail. Call us if you'd like a project described in more depth.
- Third-party services. Form delivery, and the phone and email apps that open from our links, are provided by others. We choose providers with care but don't control their accessibility.
We review the site when content changes and will fix barriers as we find them.
