Standing Seam Metal Roofs
The premium metal roof, with nothing exposed.
Standing Seam
What it is and why it matters
Standing seam roofing uses long vertical panels joined by raised seams, with the fasteners hidden underneath instead of screwed through the face.
The result is the crisp line you see on high-end homes and barndominiums, and a roof surface with far fewer holes in it for water to find.

What we handle
- Standing seam roofs for homes and barndominiums
- Accent roofs over porches, entries and bump-outs
- Replacing shingle or exposed-fastener roofs
- Ridge, eave, valley and flashing details
- Color matched to siding, trim and fascia
Why standing seam
- Concealed fasteners mean fewer penetrations in the roof
- Panels are designed to move with temperature swings
- Clean vertical lines suit farmhouse and barndominium designs
- A long-term roof for a long-term home

Why does standing seam cost more than other metal roofing?
The panels, clips and trim are more involved, and the install takes more precision. What you get for it is hidden fasteners, fewer penetrations and a cleaner finished look.
Is standing seam only for modern houses?
Not at all. It's common on farmhouses, cabins, barndominiums and traditional homes. Color choice does a lot of the work in how it reads.
Can standing seam go on just part of a house?
Yes. A standing seam accent over a porch or entry against a shingle main roof is a popular way to add character without re-roofing everything.
